Down

It is so convinient for people to over-indulge in themselves nowadays. Look at the people around you: are they more interested in the world around them or in over-analyzing every last detail of their own lives?

When your head is only concerned with the tiny bubble you live in, the most smallest of problems can take over your entire mind. The scab is picked raw over and over again, blown out of proportion and dipped in melodrama.

Maybe if we all took a moment to breathe and get out of our own heads, there would be less despessed teenagers and pictures with sad one liners on them (now those are real downers) floating around the Internet.
What if we took the time to open our minds to more than just our own problems, thoughts and experiences?

What if we took time to take in the rest of the world? It really is boundless. Read about how world works, marvel at how much dedication and intellect it took for man to discover it. Read about history, make history; read literature, write something to make a difference; watch good movies, enjoy bad movies; listen to music, make music (and laugh at however it may turn out)- learn from people's triumphs and mistakes. Make your own.
Live to learn everything about the world and you will never be without a cause.

And most of all, find more good people and care for them. I've realized that everyone has something to teach you. Instead of letting your own evils overtake your heart, let other people fill it.

If you stop to look at the world beyond what you know, you'll find that feeling sorry for yourself is such a waste of time.
