Like smelling smoke in the air and fearing something worse than fire

Like nature
Steal bits of nature from the big city like driving up a highway at 7 am and watching the sun rise over the man-made horizon of building tops, like listening to the tip-tap drum beat of dropping rain bombs on a metal roof, like dipping the edge of your slipper into a water-logged pothole and watching the ripples spread so fast that you can almost imagine fish drowning beneath them, like the smell of raw pine leaves from RM12.90 air-freshened used in toilets, like poking pinholes on black paper and holding them up to the sun calling them stars, like feeling the soil against your skin where another patch of grass has been cleared for construction, like the crunch of leaves on the ground that have given up and given in and have no successors to bury them.
